Spelling Words/ substitute

Hi all,
I was just reminded that we did not go over the spelling words this week and so it is difficult for the students to write sentences for homework tonight. Normally we do corresponding spelling book pages on Monday morning but this week, starting the Reading Intervention at 8:30, we didn't do it in the morning and it is my fault that we never got back to it. My advice would be to do Wednesday's homework (ABC order) and after the substitute goes over the words tomorrow, do tonight's tomorrow. (that make sense?)
There will be a substitute tomorrow, Mrs. Bryant who was the 6th grade teacher. I was not feeling that great today (cold/ stuffy symptoms) and after the staff meeting had a low fever temperature. If your child is sick please keep them home as well! (wait 24 hours after temperature breaks) I am hoping and planning to be back Thursday.
Please e-mail or call with any questions!
Thank you,

Christa Bond

graphing and crab video

For the group projects, I put the students into 5 groups of 4 people. I gave them different topics but they thought of the 6 options under that topic for their survey. One group at a time they went into Mrs. Tengei's room to survey her students. Then they tallied up the results and created a pictograph.

Welcome back, 2010 class photo

This picture is on the newsletter, but printed SOOO dark! We have a new student, Brittany now! In the picture we are missing Alan, Gia, and Audrey.

I am glad we are all getting back and busy again- check with your student on their supplies. Most are running out of red pens (used to correct with), colored pencils and regular pencils.
THANK YOU!! E-mail, call or comment if you have any questions!
