Field Trip Wed. 4/28, International Night Friday 5/7

We will be walking to the East Valley High School (Main and Sossaman), leaving about 9:30 from Legacy for a 10:00 show of The Lion, the Witch and The Wardrobe (put on by the high school) we will return after the show by foot. There will be sack lunches upon return to school. It is hat day, they may wear their hats to and from the play. Also comfortable walking shoes and a water bottle are good ideas.

This is going home Tuesday afternoon (with a May lunch calendar) Please respond if you can help!!

We’re going to Italy!

Dear Parents,
Third Grade will soon be participating, along with the rest of the school, in International Night – A Trip Around the World! It will be taking place at Legacy on the evening of May 7th along with the Science Fair (for those who choose to participate). You will receive more information on the times, places, and procedures in the next few weeks.
Please plan for your child to help us teach their fellow students about the region of Rome and country of Italy. It is one of our major Core Knowledge History and Geography subjects studied in 3rd grade. Our class Miss Bond’s will be presenting Rome while Mrs. Tengei’s class is presenting Tonga)
We will need your help in making this a very special learning experience for your child. Please sign up below in your area of expertise or special talents that you can lend us for this fun event!
I look forward to an exciting evening and thank you for your help,
Miss Bond.
